Are you looking for a part-time job that leaves your days free? As a logistics employee in Sliedrecht, you will work from 05:00 to 08:00 in the morning. This makes the job easy to combine with another job, your studies or your personal life. You will work with your colleagues in the warehouse. You will sort packages and help load and unload trucks. You will also use a hand scanner to scan packages. This is a physically active job, so you will spend your shift standing, walking and lifting. You do not need a diploma or previous experience. What matters most is that you enjoy being physically active and are ready to get to work.

Your tasks:
  • Sort packages and put them in the right place
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Scan packages using a hand scanner
  • Move packages and goods around the warehouse
  • Check packages
  • Keep your workplace clean and safe
  • Work together with your colleagues in the warehouse

In addition to motivation and a willingness to learn, we are looking for the following:
  • You speak Dutch or English
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are available from 05:00 to 08:00
  • You are comfortable standing, walking and lifting during your shift
  • You can work independently and as part of a team
  • You are reliable and always on time

Here’s what you can expect:
  • A gross hourly wage of €14.99 (from age 21), which comes to an average of €15.42 per hour including guaranteed allowances
  • A 15-hour-per-week contract, with morning shifts from 05:00 to 08:00
  • Travel allowance for commuting

You will work at the GLS sorting center in Sliedrecht. Every day, many packages are processed and prepared for transport. Together, the team makes sure that packages are sorted correctly and sent to the right place. You will work alongside your colleagues in the warehouse. During your training, you will learn how everything works and how to work safely. It is an active job where teamwork is important to keep the sorting process running smoothly.
