Production Operator

As a Production Operator, you play an important role in the production process. You will work in a modern and hygienic environment where quality and teamwork are key. Your work directly contributes to the production of sustainable growing substrates for exotic edible mushrooms, making a worldwide impact. Your responsibilities:

• Supply raw materials to the mixers to ensure a smooth production process.
• Monitor sterilization and inoculation processes in the clean room.
• Operate packaging equipment and fill and inspect 2.5 kg bags.
• Record production parameters to maintain product quality.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and work areas according to hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Experience as an operator or production employee, preferably in the food industry.
• Technical aptitude and an accurate working approach.
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset in a two-shift environment.
• Good command of the English language.
• Own transportation and residence within commuting distance of Heerewaarden.

We offer:

• Gross salary between €2,233 and €2,855 per 4 weeks, depending on experience.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position based on good performance.
• Full-time position (40 hours per week) in a two-shift schedule.
• Shift allowance of 12.63% on top of your base salary.
• 25 vacation days plus approximately 13 additional paid ADV days per year.
• 8% holiday allowance in accordance with Dutch collective labor agreements.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, up to 25 km one way, per worked day.
• Attractive overtime rates:
  • 150% on weekdays
  • 200% on weekends
  • 300% on public holidays
• Choice of weekly or four-weekly salary payments.
• Pension accrual through StiPP from your first working day.
