Are you an experienced industrial painter looking for a stable and well-paid job in the Nijmegen region? Do you want to work in 2 shifts, enjoy 38 days off per year, and have opportunities to develop your skills? Then this could be your next step.
As an industrial painter, you will work with modern equipment and professional techniques to prepare, treat, and protect metal products. You’ll join a skilled team of around 20 colleagues where craftsmanship, teamwork, and development are highly valued.
As an industrial painter, you are responsible for preparing and treating metal surfaces. Your work ensures that the finished products are properly protected and meet the high-quality standards expected by customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing: cleaning and preparing metal surfaces for further treatment;
- Blasting: operating the blasting line and working with grit-corundum to treat metal surfaces;
- Schoopering: applying thermal spraying techniques to protect products against rust and corrosion;
- Quality control: inspecting treated products to make sure they meet the required quality standards;
- Teamwork: working closely with your colleagues to keep the production process running smoothly.
We are looking for a technically skilled and precise industrial painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
- An MBO level 2 diploma in a technical field;
- Experience with metal preservation and grit or corundum blasting;
- Experience with industrial painting or similar spray-painting work;
- Knowledge of thermal spraying (schoopering) is a plus;
- Experience operating an overhead crane is an advantage;
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
- You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
