English Speaking Assembly Worker

As an Assembly Worker, you will join an assembly department of around 15 colleagues, working together to build high-quality trailers for customers around the world. Using technical drawings, work instructions and a range of tools, you will assemble different components at various workstations.Your tasks will include:

• Preparing axles: getting axles and related components ready for assembly;
• Assembling mechanical parts: fitting and securing various components to the trailer;
• Preparing electrical systems: preparing and routing cables for installation;
• Installing pipework: fitting and connecting pipes and related components;
• Preparing wooden floors: preparing and fitting flooring components;
• Checking quality: inspecting components and carrying out tests to ensure everything meets the required standards.

You will work on different parts of the trailer throughout the assembly process, so your work remains varied. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to building a complete, high-quality product that is ready for use.

You are technically minded, enjoy practical work and like working with tools. You may already have experience in assembly, mechanics or maintenance, or you may have developed your technical skills through hobbies or other hands-on activities. Most importantly, you are motivated to learn and enjoy working together with others.Ideally, you have the following qualifications and skills:

• A technical background, for example as a car mechanic, maintenance technician or assembly worker, or practical experience using tools;
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings or work instructions;
• A good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage;
• A practical, accurate and hands-on approach to work;
• You have your own accommodation;
• The ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn new skills;
• The physical ability to carry out assembly work.
