Warehouse worker GLS

As a warehouse worker at GLS Utrecht, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics process. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, ensuring packages are handled efficiently and reach their destinations on time. This role involves attention to detail, and the use of modern tools to maintain a safe and organized workflow. Whether you’re working during the day or night, your efforts will directly support our mission of reliable delivery.

What you will do:

• Start: clocking in, attending a short briefing, and receiving your task assignment for the shift.
• Handle: loading and unloading of packages from trucks, both manually and with the help of tools.
• Sort: packages by postcode and route to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
• Operate: equipment such as electric pallet trucks and roll containers to move heavier goods safely.
• Maintain: a clean and safe workspace by following safety guidelines and tidying up at the end of your shift.

What we expect from you:

• Physically fit for active logistics tasks and package handling.
• Available for at least 24 hours per week.
• Flexible to work day or night shifts as needed.
• Proficient in Dutch or English for effective communication.
• Able to come independently to GLS Utrecht.

• An hourly salary between €14.99, including allowances for night shifts (8.75% and 11.25%).
• A temporary contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
• Flexible working hours, with part-time or full-time options.
