Logistics employee GLS

As a logistics employee at GLS, you will be part of a fast-paced team ensuring that packages are processed efficiently and reach their destinations on time. This role combines physical activity with precision and teamwork in a structured and safety-focused environment. You’ll work in shifts, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics process while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

What You Will Do:

• Unloading: carefully unload packages from incoming trucks and prepare them for processing.
• Sorting: organize packages based on their destination and priority to ensure timely delivery.
• Loading: stack and load packages into outgoing trucks for transport.
• Maintaining: assist with cleaning and tidying up the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Physical activity: stay active with tasks like walking, standing, and lifting packages weighing up to 30 kg during your shift.

We are looking for a proactive and physically capable logistics team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.

• Available Monday to Friday, 15:00-23:00 and 23:00-08:00.
• Physically able to lift packages up to 30 kg.
• Willing to work in a cool-temperature environment.
• Team-oriented with a proactive work attitude.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse work is a plus.

• Hourly salary of €14.99 (excluding allowances).
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Flexible workweek of 24 to 40 hours.
• Shift allowances: 8.75% (20:00-00:00), 11.25% (00:00-05:00).
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
• 8% holiday allowance and weekly or 4-weekly salary payments.
