In a nutshell

Do you have warehouse experience and know how to operate a forklift? At GEODIS in Horst, you can combine both skills in one varied logistics job. Earn up to €16.20 per hour and work 32 to 40 hours per week in daytime shifts.

This is not a job where you spend your entire day doing the same thing. As an Order Picker / Forklift Driver, you can divide your time between picking orders and operating a forklift.

For candidates with the right forklift experience, the position consists of approximately 50% order picking and 50% forklift work.

Together with your colleagues, you make sure products move through the warehouse safely and efficiently.

You will:
  • Pick orders accurately using an EPT and scanner
  • Operate a forklift to move and place goods
  • Check orders for quantity and accuracy
  • Prepare products for shipment
  • Pack and process outgoing orders
  • Keep the warehouse organised and safe
The combination of order picking and forklift work keeps your working day active and varied.

We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work and already knows their way around a warehouse.

You:
  • Have at least 1–2 years of logistics experience
  • Have experience with order picking and EPT
  • Are physically fit
  • Speak and understand English
  • Are available to work rotating day shifts: one week from 07:00 to 16:00 and the following week from 09:00 to 18:00
  • Have your own transportation to the warehouse in Horst
  • Are willing to apply for a VOG

Forklift experience and/or a valid forklift certificate is a big plus. Candidates with forklift experience can be deployed approximately 50% on the forklift and 50% in order picking.

GEODIS offers you more than just a warehouse job. You will have the opportunity to develop your logistics experience and grow within an international organisation.

We offer:
  • €14.99 to €16.20 gross per hour, depending on your experience
  • 32–40 hours per week
  • Rotating daytime shifts: one week from 07:00 to 16:00 and the following week from 09:00 to 18:00
  • 8% holiday allowance
  • Travel allowance from 10 km, up to €11.50 per day
  • A temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment
  • Training and opportunities to obtain certificates
  • Career opportunities within GEODIS
  • Free parking
