You work from Monday to Friday and can start quickly. No warehouse experience? No problem. Your motivation and reliability are more important.

As a Warehouse Employee at GLS Wijchen, you help make sure parcels leave the warehouse safely and on time. This role keeps you active throughout your shift, working alongside a supportive team to ensure parcels are sorted, loaded, and dispatched on time. You’ll face the challenge of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment while staying physically engaged. Basic English communication skills and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks are essential for this role.

Together with your colleagues, you will:
  • unload incoming trucks;
  • sort parcels by route and destination;
  • load outgoing trucks safely and efficiently;
  • check parcels for damage or other problems;
  • report damaged or incorrect parcels;
  • keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe;
  • help your team meet the daily targets.
You work from Monday to Friday in an evening or night shift:
  • Evening shift: 17:00–02:00;
  • Night shift: 23:00–08:00.
The GLS warehouse is located in Wijchen, near Nijmegen. Because public transport may not be available before or after your shift, you need your own reliable transport. You can travel to the warehouse by car, bicycle or scooter.

We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in active, hands-on roles.

You:
  • speak basic English;
  • are available from Monday to Friday;
  • can work evening and night shifts;
  • are physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels;
  • have your own reliable transport to Wijchen;
  • can work safely and accurately;
  • are reliable and arrive on time;
  • enjoy working as part of a team.
Experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Employee, Parcel Sorter or Order Picker is helpful, but not required.

As a Warehouse Employee at GLS, you can count on:
  • a gross hourly wage of €14.99 to €22.49, including applicable shift allowances;

Your gross hourly wage depends on the hours you work and the applicable shift allowance:
  • 17:00–20:00: €14.99 per hour;
  • 20:00–00:00: €16.30 per hour;
  • 00:00–06:00: €16.68 per hour;
  • Friday night: up to €22.49 per hour.
